Responsibilities
- Maintain caseload of 3-6 clients
- Meet with clients and caregivers on a regular basis to provide time-limited, individualized, and behaviorally focused mental health support services to youth and their families to further treatment goals and ensure successful transition of clients and their families
- Collaborate with the treatment team members to provide crisis intervention and mental health services
- Cultivate relationships and maintain communication with all treatment team members including participation in treatment reviews, IEP meetings, and other client related meetings
- Coordinate and implement overall services and treatment for assigned clients, including assessment, treatment planning, evaluation of progress, and termination
- Complete treatment plans, functional behavioral assessments, progress notes, monthly reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and complete client charts and records to county and agency standards
- Participate in weekly individual and group supervision and all program meetings and trainings
- Maintain accurate paperwork including but not limited to time sheets and mileage reimbursement
Qualifications
REQUIRED • Education/Experience requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR
- Associate's degree or equivalent + 1 year of applicable experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED + 2 years of applicable experience
- Applicable experience can include paid or unpaid experience working with youth or families or working in the social services field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evening hours as needed
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- Preferred
- Experience providing crisis assessment, management, and interventions
- Experience writing progress notes and other therapeutic documentation
SCHEDULE • Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5
- 30pm
- Hybrid; Flexible work hours
- In person meeting with clients
- Remotely can hold internal meetings and documentation
- Driving all through Contra Costa County
