Market context

Licensed play therapy roles remain selective

In South Carolina, child play therapist openings tend to favor candidates with graduate training, active state licensure, and play therapy experience, so qualified applicants can stand out in a smaller pool. These roles are competitive because employers often look for RPT status or progress toward it, along with the ability to work under clinical supervision and contribute to child-focused care. Before applying, confirm your South Carolina license status and RPT pathway, and review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time compared with reading the full original posting.
