Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher (ESL) to provide in-person customized lessons to children in Carmel, IN. Job Information: Class numbers: 197322 and 197323 Student: Two eleven-year-old siblings, taking individual classes back-to-back Target language: English Requested times: In May, weekends 4-8 pm; in June, weekdays after 3 pm Preferred start date: ASAP Lesson frequency: 4x per week Lesson length: 30 minutes for each student Student’s location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Carmel, IN 46032 (near Hotel Carmichael on 1 Carmichael Square) Current English level: Complete beginners Languages spoken at home: Japanese and Chinese Students’ language needs and goals: Their lessons should focus on building vocabulary, learning common phrases used by native speakers in everyday situations, and developing confidence through conversations with native speakers. Special emphasis should also be placed on school-related vocabulary and social language to help them make friends and integrate more easily into their new environment.

Qualifications
To have a native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language To have a degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field. To have a minimum of two years of experience teaching ESL Experience teaching children is a must. All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
