The Lead Teacher is responsible for the safety and cognitive growth of infants through a Reggio Emilia inspired, play-based curriculum. They lead the teaching team in maintaining DCFS standards and foster strong communication with families and staff.
Candidates must be at least 19 years old and hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a CDA. Infant Room certification and the physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required.
For the 2026-2027 school year, the JCC Chicago seeks 3 dynamic, dedicated Lead Teacher to join our amazing team at our Northbrook/Bernard Weinger location, to start ASAP, working with infants age 8–15-month-old and toddlers.
