The Head Elementary Cheer Coach is responsible for planning and leading weekly practices, games, and performances for TK-5th grade students. The role focuses on teaching fundamental cheer skills while promoting teamwork and a positive environment.

Adventure Christian School is seeking a positive and enthusiastic Elementary Cheer Coach to support our TK–5th grade cheer program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with younger athletes and contributing to a fun, energetic team environment.
Key Responsibilities Planning practices, games, and performances - (Practices are once a week, for one hour each practice) Help teach fundamental cheer skills (motions, jumps, chants, routines) Promote teamwork, effort, and sportsmanship Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive environment Other duties assigned by the Athletics Director

Cheer experience (playing or coaching) preferred but not required Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude and ability to work with elementary-aged students Willingness to learn and grow within the program Commitment to the mission and values of Adventure Christian School Physical Requirements Position requires moderate physical exertion associated with the ability to lift, carry, push, pull or climb. Position requires physical capability for sustained physical work, requires strength and endurance associated with moderate physical effort. Position requires moderate physical effort while performing continuous moderate lifting. Lifting 50 lbs. maximum or carrying an object up to 25 lbs.
