Job Description

Position: Independent Contractor Speech Language Pathologist The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patient's speech and language abilities, both defects and assets, and performs periodic reevaluations. Plans and provides rehabilitating services for speech and language disorders. Maintain records of patient’s progress and reaction toward treatment daily. Instructs and counsels other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patients in improving, correcting, and accepting disabilities. Position Qualifications: As required, licensed by The State of New York as a Speech Language Pathologist A master's degree is required and one (1) full year of supervised work experience. Speech Language Pathologist supervisors must have at least three (3) years of clinical experience. The Speech Language Pathologist is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and certified by the association. Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
