Overview Speech Language Pathologist – Travel assignment in a K-12 school setting serving multiple grade levels in Federal Way, Washington. Start date: September 2, 2026.

Duration

  • 41 weeks.
  • Weekly pay: $2,403 to $2,453.

Shift

8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8). This is a travel temporary assignment with a school-based setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech-language pathology evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for students across the school-age range.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
  • Conduct screenings, assess communication and feeding concerns, and recommend appropriate therapy strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathology assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and access to curriculum.
  • Document services and outcomes in student records; participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting.
  • Maintain professional standards and comply with school-based policies and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

  • Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington state (or eligible for licensure in Washington).
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible for CF-SLP.
  • Relevant school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a school setting; strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to pass routine background check and obtain any required clearances.
