Job description
- Overview Speech Language Pathologist—School-based assignment in Federal Way, Washington.
- This travel temporary position starts on 09/02/2026 for a 41-week contract.
- You will work 8-hour days on a 5-day, Monday–Friday schedule (08:00–16:00).
- Weekly pay ranges from $2,368 to $2,474 per week, with guaranteed hours not provided.
- The role takes place in a school setting serving elementary through high school students.

Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology evaluations and direct therapy to students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement therapy plans and IEP goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support communication goals.
- Document services, progress notes, and compliance with district and state requirements.
- Conduct screenings and participate in IEP meetings and case conferences.
- Provide AAC supports and strategies across classrooms; support transfer of skills into daily activities.
Requirements
- Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Washington or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Ability to work in a school environment with a pediatric and adolescent population (K–12).
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to participate in a 41-week assignment and follow the school calendar.
