Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job

• Overview Speech Language Pathologist—School-based assignment in Federal Way, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology evaluations and direct therapy to students with communication disorders.
• Develop and implement therapy plans and IEP goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support communication goals.
• Document services, progress notes, and compliance with district and state requirements.
• Conduct screenings and participate in IEP meetings and case conferences.
• Provide AAC supports and strategies across classrooms; support transfer of skills into daily activities.

Requirements

• Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Washington or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Ability to work in a school environment with a pediatric and adolescent population (K–12).
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to participate in a 41-week assignment and follow the school calendar.
