Job description
- Childare Floater/Teacher Aide Foothills Child Development is a licensed childcare center seeking Teacher Aides/Floaters to support all age groups!
- To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, the ability to pass all background checks, and candidates must be 18 years of age.
- A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

- Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Q&A Classroom observation Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed.
- This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members before or after their scheduled shifts.
- Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
- Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
