- Kailua / Kaneohe Area Flexible / On Call Flexible Work Supporting Hawai‘i’s Keiki This is a great opportunity for: Students Caregivers Retirees Anyone looking for flexible, on-call work What This Role Looks Like As a substitute, you may: Step into classrooms to assist or lead when regular staff are out Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children Help create a safe, caring, and positive environment Work with different age groups and teaching teams Every day can look a little different—which keeps things fun and engaging 😊 Flexible Schedule On-call / as-needed basis May work a few hours or full days depending on center needs Weekday daytime hours only (no nights/weekends) You let us know what your availability is - Perfect if you need true flexibility Pay Range Starting at $18 depending on experience If you're PATCH qualified, $19-25 per hour DOE Why You’ll Love This Role Make a difference without a full-time commitment Gain experience in early childhood education Work with a supportive and welcoming team Opportunity to transition into a regular part-time or full-time role What We’re Looking For At least 18 years old High school diploma or GED Experience with children is a plus (babysitting, classroom, camps, etc.) Dependable, flexible, and positive attitude Willing to jump in and help where needed PATCH eligibility is helpful, but we can guide you through that process if needed.
