Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, independence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners through engaging routines, hands-on learning experiences, and classroom activities that build confidence and early academic foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers Encourage social-emotional growth and positive classroom participation Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and progress Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
