BCBA

Side by Side Behavioral Health LLC·Winter Park, Florida

$75,000 - $75,000/yr·Full Time·On Site·0-2 yrs·Posted 15 days ago
Practice for this role

About the role

The BCBA is responsible for conducting behavior assessments and developing individualized treatment plans while supervising RBTs to ensure clinical integrity. They also collaborate with families, schools, and interdisciplinary teams to align behavior supports with educational goals.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst—BCBA Side by Side Behavioral Health LLC Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried Work Setting: Clinic-Based Caseload: Approximately 15–18 active clients Position Overview Side by Side Behavioral Health LLC is seeking a collaborative and clinically focused Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our growing ABA team.

This is a primarily clinic-based position serving children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs.

Our BCBAs generally maintain a caseload of approximately 15 to 18 active clients.

Caseload assignments are based on client complexity, authorized supervision hours, treatment intensity, staffing needs, and the experience of the assigned RBTs.

Because we are a BCBA-owned organization, we understand the demands of clinical practice and prioritize collaboration, ethical decision-making, treatment quality, and meaningful client outcomes.

What Makes This Position Different Our clinical BCBAs are able to focus primarily on clinical care.

We have a separate Intake Department responsible for preparing full assessment and reassessment reports, managing insurance authorization submissions, following up with payers, and handling related insurance processes.

Clinical BCBAs conduct the necessary observations, assessments, and data collection and provide the clinical information needed by the Intake Department, but they are not ordinarily responsible for independently writing the complete insurance report or managing insurance authorizations.

This position does not require routine travel to clients’ homes or schools.

Services and supervision are provided at the assigned clinic, with occasional participation in community activities or client field trips when clinically appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight for approximately 15–18 active clients.

Supervise, train, and support RBTs.

Observe treatment implementation and monitor treatment integrity.

Review and analyze client data.

Modify treatment protocols based on direct observation and clinical data.

Develop and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.

Conduct clinical components of assessments and reassessments.

Provide caregiver training and clinical consultation.

Review clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.

Collaborate with other behavior analysts regarding treatment needs and complex cases.

Respond to clinical, behavioral, and safety concerns.

Ensure services comply with BACB ethical requirements, payer standards, and company policies.

Maintain accurate and current clinical information within the company’s electronic data-collection system.

Collaborative Clinical Environment Our analysts regularly support one another, discuss cases, review clinical challenges, and collaborate on treatment recommendations.

The BCBA will have opportunities to consult with other analysts and leadership rather than managing difficult cases in isolation.

Many of the families and therapists we serve communicate primarily or more comfortably in Spanish.

Spanish proficiency is not required for this position.

English is used for clinical documentation, formal employment communications, and professional requirements.

Bilingual team members are available to support caregiver communication and clinical coordination when language assistance is needed.

Clinic Leadership and Operational Support As a clinic-based leader, the BCBA may occasionally assist with limited operational responsibilities, including: Monitoring clinical and office inventory.

Identifying materials and supplies that need to be ordered.

Supporting the organization of therapy spaces.

Assisting with immediate office needs when necessary.

Supporting clinic readiness and daily operational continuity.

These responsibilities are secondary to the BCBA’s clinical duties and are not intended to replace the Office Manager.

Clinical quality, client safety, supervision, and treatment outcomes remain the position’s primary priorities.

Required Qualifications Active BCBA certification in good standing.

Master’s degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field.

Experience providing ABA services to individuals with autism or related developmental needs.

Competency in behavioral assessment, data analysis, protocol modification, caregiver training, and RBT supervision.

Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and professional communication.

Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, intake, administrative, and operational teams.

Ability to meet applicable Florida Medicaid, payer, credentialing, and background-screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supervising RBTs in a clinic-based setting. Experience conducting functional and skills-based assessments. Experience managing moderate-to-high-intensity cases. Familiarity with Florida Medicaid and commercial insurance requirements. Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse families. Spanish proficiency is valued but not required. Compensation and Benefits Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience, clinical competencies, supervisory background, schedule, productivity expectations, and the overall employment package. Eligible full-time employees may receive: Paid time off 401(k) plan with employer matching Continuing-education support Additional benefits established by company policy About Side by Side Behavioral Health Side by Side Behavioral Health LLC is a Florida-based, BCBA-owned ABA organization committed to evidence-based treatment, ethical clinical practices, collaborative leadership, and individualized care for children and families.
