• Options: 8:00 AM – 5:00
• PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Gurnee is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, creativity, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy helping young learners build confidence and independence through engaging classroom experiences, hands-on learning, and positive daily routines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Encourage social-emotional growth and positive classroom participation Implement developmentally appropriate activities using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and milestones Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Maintain compliance with Illinois licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

Genuine passion for early childhood education and working with preschool-aged children Minimum 6 months of professional teaching experience required 1 year of preschool or childcare experience preferred Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred High school diploma or GED required Must meet Illinois childcare licensing requirements
