Lead and develop a recreational youth football team by teaching age-appropriate fundamentals and game strategies. Foster a safe, inclusive environment while promoting teamwork and maintaining clear communication with parents.
Physical demands Must be physically active, including running, throwing, catching, and lifting equipment up to 20 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, squat, and perform physical activities for extended periods. Capable of engaging directly in youth sports drills and game-day activities. Proposed schedule The season begins the week of August 31st with practices being held 1 day per week on either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (exact day/time TBD) Games will be held from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM on September 12th, September 19th, September 26th, October 3rd, October 10th, October 17th Playoffs will be held on October 24th Required competencies, education, and experience Basic knowledge of football rules and techniques. Demonstrated interest and ability in working with children in a team setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
