Job description

  • The University of Virginia's School of Education seeks qualified applicants for the Department of Human Services to teach and provide content expertise for programs in Counselor Education for the 2025-2026 academic year and 2026 Summer.
  • Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course.
  • This is an at-will faculty wage position that does not carry benefits.
  • Opportunities may be available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online.
  • If no position is currently available, we will retain submitted applications on file for future consideration during the 2025-2026 academic year and summer 2026.
  • A terminal degree is preferred, but not required, in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught.
