St. Mary School-German Village 3rd Grade Teacher Full-Time Catholic Preferred but Not Required About Us: The Diocese of Columbus is dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of every student. Position Summary

  • St. Mary German Village is seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to join our school community. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Catholic education, possess excellent classroom management skills, and be enthusiastic about nurturing the academic and spiritual growth of students in a faith-based environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with diocesan curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered classroom environment.
  • Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom activities.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents regularly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to support student success.
  • Participate in school and parish activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
  • Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic teachings and values.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
