You will also… Promote positive development of social and emotional competencies in students Cover classroom duties as needed Develop relationships with other school staff Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Prior teaching experience is preferred Ability to pass both state and federal background check DCF certification preferred Ability to work with students ranging from age 1 through 5th grade Strong classroom management skills Dependable, flexible, and comfortable supporting a variety of classroom environments and schedules To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
