Job description

  • YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth Employment Application Early Learning Teacher Provides direction for the children in the classroom, and implements program curriculm.
  • Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging in our youth and relationships among youth and within families.
  • Essesntial Functions: Implements curriculm within established guidelines.
  • Nutures children through purposeful programming dedicated to building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and families.
  • Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities including accommodations where appropirate.
  • Follows all procedures and standards.
  • Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.
  • Culivates positive relationships, maintains effective communication with parents.
  • Maintains classroom, equipemtn and supplies.
  • Attends and participates in program activities, staff meetings & staff training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Meets licensing educational and experience qualifications for Early Learning Teacher. High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years of age.

Certifications

Pedatric CPR & 1st Aid & Health Card Child Abuse Prevention Training Previous experience working with children Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropirate activities.
