About the role

The Early Learning Teacher implements program curriculum and provides a quality experience to children and parents to build achievement and belonging. Responsibilities include supervising classroom activities, conducting child evaluations, and maintaining effective communication with families.

Provides a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on building achievement and belonging in our youth and relationships among youth and within families.

Essesntial Functions: Implements curriculm within established guidelines.

Nutures children through purposeful programming dedicated to building achievement and belonging in youth and relationships among youth and families.

Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities including accommodations where appropirate.

Follows all procedures and standards.

Makes ongoing, systematic observations and evaluations of each child.

Culivates positive relationships, maintains effective communication with parents.

Maintains classroom, equipemtn and supplies.

Attends and participates in program activities, staff meetings & staff training.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Meets licensing educational and experience qualifications for Early Learning Teacher. High School Diploma or equivalent. At least 18 years of age.

Certifications

Pedatric CPR & 1st Aid & Health Card Child Abuse Prevention Training Previous experience working with children Ability to plan, organize and implement age-appropirate activities. Ability to develop positive, authentic relationships with people from different backgrounds. This job description is not intended to be all inclusive. Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and meet licensing educational qualifications. Required certifications include Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention Training.
