  • What is needed for this job: Either a CDA credential OR an Associates Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • 2 years (2500 hours) verified childcare experience and all DHS child care requirements.
  • The responsibilities we will trust you with: Assist in planning and implementing dynamic curricula to ensure fun, child-centered, and age-appropriate lessons are offered.
  • Cultivate a sensitive, patient childcare environment for both children and families.
  • Maintain a healthy environment through light cleaning and supporting personal care routines of the children.
  • Supervise each child in your care by being able to identify, SEE, HEAR, DIRECT and ASSIST, always ensuring a safe environment.
  • Uphold all YMCA, State, and Quality Rating Systems policies and guidelines for overall commitment to quality in childcare.
