Overview

  • Ascend Rehab Services is hiring an experienced and passionate Early Interventionist/ Infant Development Specialist (IDS) to join our team in Antioch, CA. This position is based in a pediatric outpatient clinic and preschool setting—not home-based—and focuses on supporting toddlers ages 18 to 36 months with developmental delays. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, IDSs) to provide services that promote developmental milestones through direct instruction and caregiver coaching. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in early intervention (ages 0–3) Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field (Master’s a plus) Strong knowledge of typical and atypical development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Spanish-speaking is a plus Clinic or preschool experience strongly preferred
