Responsibilities
Safely pick up children from Washington International School (1690 36th Street NW, Washington, DC). Transport children to and from after-school activities, primarily swim practice. Prepare and provide nutritious snacks and light meals before practices. Ensure children have all necessary gear and are organized for activities. Assist children in getting started on homework after activities. Handle light household duties such as tidying common areas, managing the dishwasher, or folding laundry as needed. Engage with children in a positive, supportive, and encouraging manner.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare or nanny experience, preferably with school-aged children. Excellent driving record and reliable vehicle suitable for transporting children. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prepare simple, healthy snacks and meals. Dependable, proactive, and warm personality. Comfort with a family dog and willingness to help with light pet-related tasks if needed.
