Job description

The Department of English [https://www.owu.edu/academics/departments-programs/department-of-english/] at Ohio Wesleyan University seeks a part-time instructor to teach our College Writing Seminar in the fall semester of 2026. Additional teaching opportunities in spring 2027 are likely. Candidates should have at least a Master’s degree in English or a related field. Experience teaching first-year composition courses at the undergraduate level is expected.

Given that Ohio Wesleyan is a residential, liberal arts institution, all classes are taught in-person. We do not offer online courses during spring and fall semesters.

Pay is $5,000 per course.
