Entry Level Behavior Technician Qualifications & Responsibilities

High School Diploma 1+ years of experience and/or exposure to working with children Comfortable working with children or individuals with special needs Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred) Ability and commitment to complete a 40-hour training course with us to obtain certification Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting Maintain a highly professional, positive attitude and demonstrate reliability and punctuality Must pass a background check Provide direct care to clients in both one-on-one and group settings, following behavior reduction plans and protocols Collect behavior and skill acquisition data using company-issued tablets and complete daily session notes Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and parents while attending staff meetings and trainings
