- Percentage: Up to 10%The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Teacher to join our Day Treatment & Education team. This Teacher role will be responsible for the education of our Day Treatment programing. The Teacher will plan and direct learning experiences, both in the academic and behavioral management areas, during the school year. This role is responsible for collecting on and reporting IEP data; collecting on, reporting, assessing, and drafting transition IEP information; drafting IEP Annual Reviews; leading Annual Review meetings; participating in Change of Placement meetings; amending intake IEPs for placement meetings.

- Compensation
- Information: Set rates based on education level and years of teaching experience. Increased comp for relevant education and experience.
- What you’ll do: Use trauma-informed, focused interventions to engage students. Educate students, family members, and other providers about behavior plans, prevention, self-management, peer support and recovery. Manage behavioral health crises through appropriate interventions. Report to students, families, and home school district on grades and IEP data every 9 weeks. Effectively implement trauma informed strategies which create a strength-based, structured environment conducive to learning and healing. Create effective lesson plans, implements individual and group instructional strategies and accurately assesses students.

- QualificationsWho you are: You have a bachelor’s degree in education; master’s degree preferred. You have an active educator license in the state of Ohio. You preferably are an licensed Intervention Specialist. You have an active driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
