Market context

Michigan assistant teacher demand is steady

Assistant teacher roles in Michigan are typically driven by ongoing childcare and early learning staffing needs, especially in licensed centers that must meet state ratios and qualification rules. This role is competitive because employers often look for a high school diploma or GED, prior childcare experience, and Michigan licensing compliance, with a CDA preferred; benefits like health, dental, vision, and 401(k) options can help.
