  • As a school-Based physical therapist, here’s what you’ll do
  • Provide physical therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students with mobility, strength, coordination, and functional challenges
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy plans and student goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Assist students with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, positioning, balance, and functional movement activities
  • Monitor student progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Educate families and school personnel on therapy goals, adaptive strategies, and safe mobility practices
  • Foster a supportive and positive environment that encourages student participation and independence

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the State of New Hampshire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of physical therapy experience preferred
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach and strong clinical judgment
