Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic in Osceola, United States. As a valued member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating children with speech, language, and swallowing disorders, helping them overcome communication challenges and improve their quality of life. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals Provide therapy services using evidence-based techniques and innovative approaches Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care Educate and support parents, guardians, and caregivers on home-based strategies and exercises Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and treatment documentation Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric speech-language pathology and incorporate new techniques into practice Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our clinic's services Ensure compliance with all relevant accreditation standards and regulatory requirements Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state license/certification in speech-language pathology Minimum of one (1) year experience in pediatric speech pathology preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on interpersonal abilities Demonstrated competency in applying principles, methods, materials, and equipment used in speech therapy Familiarity with a wide range of pediatric speech and language disorders Experience with various assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric patients Strong documentation and record-keeping skills Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements in healthcare settings Willingness to provide therapy services at our outpatient clinic, with flexibility to accommodate patient needs Passion for working with children and a patient, empathetic approach to treatment Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry advancements
