About the Role
As a Swim Instructor, you’ll play a key role in teaching children essential swimming and water‑safety skills in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, enjoys working with children, and has a strong background in swimming. Prior experience in swim instruction, coaching, or a related role is preferred, but we provide in‑house training for the right candidates.

Responsibilities
Teach swim lessons to individuals and small groups of varying skill levels Instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety Maintain constant supervision to ensure student safety Provide positive, constructive feedback to help students progress Keep the pool area clean, safe, and organized Collaborate with fellow instructors to enhance program quality Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Qualifications
Strong swimming ability (required) Must be 18 years or older Patient, caring, and enthusiastic when working with children of all abilities Availability to work afternoons and/or weekends Willingness to obtain required certifications, or already certified CPR / First Aid Swim Instructor Certification (WSI preferred) Lifeguard certification (optional) Previous experience as a Swim Instructor, coach, or similar instructional role (preferred) Must successfully pass a criminal background check
