Job description

Purpose of this position

  • Children’s Service Center is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member.
  • If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn, the Educational Aide/Mental Health Worker is right for you.
  • Join our team of employees at our Partial Program to experience the positivity of helping change young people’s lives.
  • You will be trained to provide services to youth while supporting the teacher in a classroom setting.
  • This position will report to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide therapeutic support to emotionally disturbed and/or exceptional students
  • Provide individual attention to children in a classroom setting on an as-needed basis
  • Help reinforce what is taught and remediate when requested by the teacher or a student; provide assistance to the teach and function as associates (aides)
  • Assists the teacher with administering/grading classroom tests
