The Instructional Coach/Math Instructor will support teachers in designing and implementing rigorous lesson plans aligned to standards and conduct bi-weekly observations and feedback sessions. The position will focus on leading the development and oversight of teachers in math content areas, while also supporting the coordination of school-wide testing programs.
This role may include teaching Math courses.

Support teachers in designing and implementing rigorous unit plans and lessons aligned to standards, with clear objectives and appropriate assessments.
Conduct coaching meetings every two weeks to help teachers internalize content, refine instructional techniques, and strengthen classroom management.
Foster a data-driven culture by helping teachers analyze and respond to student achievement data to inform instruction.
Facilitate collaborative planning sessions, student work analysis, and professional learning communities to improve instructional practice.
Contribute to school-based duties including arrival/dismissal, test proctoring, and other shared responsibilities.
Depending on staffing and scheduling needs, the instructional coach may be required to teach math classes and maintain all associated instructional and professional responsibilities.
Qualifications: Experience: 3–5 years of successful teaching experience
Previous experience or training in instructional coaching or teacher development
Strong understanding of curriculum design and assessment practices; North Carolina experience preferred
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, School Leadership, or related field preferred
