  • Summary: The Educator, RN assist the manager and/or Education Specialist with planning, development, implementation, and facilitation of education for initial and annual training as well as other educational events. This individual should be strongly grounded on research-based practice and have a strong knowledge of the educational principles and design. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Job Description

Job Duties: Facilitates assigned clinical educational events/skills training of RNs and other clinical professionals, including running, evaluating, and debriefing clinical scenarios developed by Education Specialist. Assists manager and/or Education Specialist with planning and development of training for RNs and other clinical professionals as needed. Assists with class facilitation, processing paperwork including completion of rubrics, evaluations and outcomes of educational events. Assists with educational events/skills set up prior to, breakdown and clean-up after and maintenance of simulators. Maintains technical/professional/clinical skills. Attends required training for facilitating assigned educational events/skills. Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduation from an accredited nursing program If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence. Current RN license to practice in the state where work is being performed. Meets contact hour requirements, including all state-required courses. Specialized Knowledge: Excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and have skill in working and collaborating as part of a team. Knowledge of adult education principles and Instructional media. Kind and Length of Experience: 5 years’ experience including professional RN practice. FLSA Status: Exempt Right Career. Right Here.
