About the Role

Great opportunity for a mature career nanny. Working parents need an extra set of caring eyes, ears, and hands to help with their toddler. Working schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with opportunity for occasional overtime. Benefits include paid medical benefits, paid PTO, sick time, and holidays. Rate of Pay (Gross): $28-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $58,240 to $72,800 annually (gross). Primary Responsibilities All standard nanny duties, including, but not limited to,, diaper changing, dressing, putting down for naps, bathing, helping the child meet developmental milestones, etc. Reading and encouraging creative, engaging indoor and outdoor play with minimal screen time Light housekeeping duties, including assisting with laundry, maintaining the organization of the child’s bedroom, and guiding the child in picking up after himself. Cooking light meals and preparing snacks for the child. Being proactive with tasks, wisely using time, communicating with parents re: child’s needs and supporting the parental style and approach Displaying a good attitude, calm demeanor, and flexibility to juggle changing needs and priorities It is not anticipated that regular transport of the child will be necessary, but, as such occasions may arise, mileage reimbursement will be offered for any miles driven using your personal vehicle for directly requested, job-related requirements Required Skills/Abilities Strong nurturing skills, proactive “go-getter” drive, unfailing patience, and calm demeanor. Reliable, punctual, and able to foster a safe, engaging environment for the child. Proven integrity, excellent communication skills, and collaborative approach. Adept at “stepping in” and “stepping out” appropriately without being directed. Organized, neat, composed, trustworthy, honest, and willing to be at their best at work. Education and Experience Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction High school degree required, with higher formal education a plus Career nanny with a minimum of 10 years’ professional nanny experience (not babysitting) CPR certification (or willing to renew before hire) Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required Absolutely no smoking of any kind or at any time around the children or on property of the home Comfortable with nanny cams in the home Strong professional and personal references required
