About the Role
Physical Therapists are responsible for supporting patient care and supporting clinic success by: Synthesizing pertinent information from a patient's referral, medical records, imaging, intake forms and subjective history taking. Diagnosing movement dysfunction via functional movement, posture and gait analysis, internal pelvic floor examinations, objective measurements and listening to patients concerns and goals. Using critical thinking to develop individualized plans of care for patients to include the patient's goals and expected outcomes of the plan. Utilizing evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, biofeedback and other modalities to achieve patients' goals. Evaluating and documenting patient progress, utilizing outcomes to drive results and modifying the plan of care as needed. Educating patients about what to expect from the recovery process and how to cope with challenges throughout the process Following up with patients to ensure better adherence to plan of care Connecting with providers and local organizations to increase awareness of therapies provided by the clinic and ensure that as many patients as possible that need care are able to receive it. Clinical instruction of at least 1 student rotation per year after the first year of treatment in your specialty area Other tasks as assigned What You’ll Achieve Having a deep sense of teamwork on behalf of patient care and outcomes will: Result in serving as many patients as possible who need care with high quality physical therapy at Origin Facilitation of care that creates meaningful outcomes (in partnership / mentorship with other PTs and/or providers as necessary)

The pay range for this role is
70,000 - 120,000.00 USD per year (South Austin)
