- Waypoint Maine is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, mission-driven team.
- This hybrid position blends meaningful in-person work with flexible remote opportunities, supporting both children and adults across a variety of settings.
- Position Overview This role includes in-person services at the Fraser Ford School in Sanford, Maine, a year-round day treatment setting serving students from Pre-K through Grade 4.
- In this setting, the Occupational Therapist will provide both direct services and consultative support.
- When not on-site at the school, the Occupational Therapist will conduct assistive technology assessments for adults with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities.
- These services may be delivered remotely or in person.
- Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to children in a therapeutic school environment Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Conduct assistive technology evaluations for adult clients Recommend and support the use of: Assistive and adaptive equipment Wearable and accessible technologies Home and environmental modifications Deliver training and education to clients, families, and caregivers
Qualifications
