Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators, you will implement curriculum standards, develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: The teacher develops and implements engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with disabilities and English language learners. Instruction is differentiated to ensure that all students can succeed, with lesson plans translated into dynamic learning experiences that maximize instructional time. Critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity are fostered through interactive activities that encourage student engagement. Regular assessment of student learning, achievement, and performance is conducted, with results reported as per school policy. A positive, supportive classroom environment is created, promoting creativity, self-expression, and teamwork, while clear and consistent expectations and instructions are provided to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Candidate must be or able to be endorsed in the content area, passed the PLACE or Praxis test in the content area, and/or have 24 semester credit in the content area to meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) "highly qualified" status.
