Position Summary: And scope:
The Transfer Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for evaluating academic records for all student populations and ensuring accurate application of transfer credit toward degree programs. This role supports admissions, advising, and retention efforts by providing timely and compliant evaluations, maintaining curriculum integrity, and ensuring alignment with institutional policies and academic standards. This position reports directly to the Assistant Registrar or Manager, Professional Services.
This position will require some weekend and evening hours as needed.
- In this position, Post University currently offers the option to work remotely; however, may require select office hours at the Downtown or Main Campus locations for associates located near Waterbury, CT.
- Candidates must plug their equipment into their home router (Post provides a 50-foot ethernet cable).
- No wireless connections are supported.
- The home internet minimum requirements are a 25 Mb download speed and a 15 Mb upload speed.
- The upload speed is essential for a consistent audio connection for the phone system. (Please use the link here to test your home network speed-www.speedtest.net.
- Change the speed test server to Boston, MA- Comcast for accurate results.
- Candidates whose home network speed does not meet the minimum requirements can independently contact their ISP to upgrade their service before their confirmed start date.
Post University associates must meet the minimum home network speeds and follow the hardware connection settings determined by their provisioned equipment and department role when working remotely. Additionally, candidates must have a reliable Internet connection, with a designated and private home office or alternative workspace free from noise or distractions.
Essential functions
- Evaluate submitted transcripts and apply appropriate transfer credit to student degree plans across all populations, including new students, continuing students, appeals, credit for prior learning pathways, and international institutions.
- Research institutions, courses, and equivalencies using tools such as ACE, College Navigator, Ed.Gov resources, and transfer equivalency systems.
- Accurately enters official transfer of credit into the Anthology Student system, ensuring proper articulation and alignment with institutional policies and degree requirements.
- Build and update student enrollments and degree plans, including course equivalencies, substitutions, and program adjustments.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of articulation agreements and transfer pathways.
- Review and process course substitution requests, waivers, and external coursework approvals.
- Support graduation audit processes by resolving curriculum discrepancies and providing guidance on transfer applicability.
- Collaborate with academic advising, admissions, and other departments for degree plan updates and student record accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in higher education; Registrar's Office and Transfer Evaluation experience preferred.
- Possesses an understanding of student records policies and FERPA.
- Excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills; maintain a positive attitude.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, with a strong emphasis on Excel proficiency.
- Preferred knowledge in working with Anthology Student (Campus Nexus Student).
- Solution-oriented individuals.
- Ability to plan, organize, and implement assigned responsibilities and to work well under pressure to meet established deadlines.
- Energetic and goal-oriented; strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
