Job description

  • Salary/Position classification
  • 12.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10-20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate your expertise and in-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of basketball drills
  • Ability to interact with a wide array of socio-economic backgrounds
  • Work within the policies and procedures of the University environment
  • Operate as a team player within a group
  • Willing and able to follow the directions of the supervisors
  • Camp dates:
  • June 2 – 4: Little Hoopers 1
  • July 6 - 8: Little Hoopers 2
  • June 5 - 6: High School Elite Camp
  • June 9 - 10: Junior Elite Camp
  • Ability to teach and coach basketball skills to youth grades 1-12.
  • Leading a group of 10-12 athletes through a set of drills and skill development periods.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate
  • Minimum requirements
  • Experience with collegiate men’s basketball as either a player, coach or graduate assistant.
  • Knowledge of the game of basketball and ability to vocalize and instruct.
  • Ability to be on your feet for long hours.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
