About the role

The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, standards-based lessons for 5th grade students. They must maintain a supportive classroom environment and collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.

About the Position

As a 4th Grade Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in students during a key stage of their development. You will design dynamic lessons, build strong relationships, and create a supportive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

Position qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in education or related field
  • Teacher certification preferred
  • Experience teaching elementary grades
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Excellent communication and technology skills
  • Other Requirements
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid IVP fingerprint clearance card by the time of hire.

  • Assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet diverse needs
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians

  • Maintains accurate, complete, legible and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.

Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and are preferred to have teacher certification. A valid IVP fingerprint clearance card is required by the time of hire.
