Responsibilities
for the Assistant Coach for Women’s Lacrosse include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting in planning and conducting practices scouting sessions Developing and enhancing players' technical skills and understanding of tactical systems Supporting operational tasks including, but not limited to: o Film review and analysis o Arranging travel accommodations o Coordinating team meals Monitoring and supporting student-athletes' academic performance Assisting with all recruiting responsibilities and talent identification of prospective student-athletes Ensuring personal and program adherence to all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules/requirements Promoting the women's lacrosse program and Towson University athletics through various channels Organizing and participating in community service activities Assisting with other duties as assigned by the head coach or Athletic Department The work hours for this position include nights and weekends, as necessary. Travel is required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree One year of lacrosse coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, camp/clinic, or professional level Knowledge of strategies and skills in the sport of women’s lacrosse, as well as University, conference, and NCAA rules/regulations/requirements
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree Experience in coaching at the Division I level
