Assist the classroom teacher in providing care and education to children while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Responsibilities include following daily routines, performing housekeeping duties, and ensuring compliance with safety certifications.
Position Title: Child Care Assistant Teacher
To carry out the philosophy of The Salvation Army Childcare Center, to assist the classroom teacher, assume responsibility and duties involving the care and teaching of children.

$15.75 - $18.90 Hourly

This Position has a high level of movement and flexibility.
You must be comfortable working with small children.
You will be on your hands and knees as well as crouching down several times a day to interact with the children.
Must be able to sit on the floor with children as well as sit on the small chairs.
Low impact sports and interaction with the children will often be required as well as lifting twenty-five pounds often and up to fifty pounds occasionally.
This is a high level noise position with children talking, playing and yelling several times a day.
