Market context

Texas school psychologist roles stay in steady demand

In Texas, school psychologist openings are often driven by student mental health needs, special education evaluations, and district staffing gaps. These roles are competitive because employers typically look for a master’s degree from a NASP-accredited program, Texas licensure, diagnostic and special education knowledge, and prior school experience. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your licensure status and prepare examples of evaluation and intervention work before applying.
