Job description

  • We are seeking a creative, playful, and flexible Clinic Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join our busy clinic serving young children with autism. This is a fast paced, supportive environment where teamwork, creativity, and a love for working with children are essential. The Clinic Assistant plays an important role in supporting daily clinic operations and helping create a positive, engaging environment for children and staff. This position reports directly to the Clinic Leader. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting with daily clinic operations including cleaning, organizing, and preparing materials for sessions
  • Running small groups and supporting children during structured activities
  • Supervising nap time and supporting classroom routines to allow staff members to take breaks
  • Helping maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment
  • Providing general support to clinical staff and assisting with day to day needs throughout the clinic

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children is required
  • Experience working with children with special needs is welcomed but not required
  • Creative, playful, energetic, and able to engage young children
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support wherever needed
