Duties & Responsibilities

Teach three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the fully online competency-based education (CBE) format supporting the CBE Orientation Courses. Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments. Facilitate courses by adhering to the standard course syllabus as provided by the Assistant Dean. Monitor undergraduate-level orientation courses for CBE programs and provide weekly status reports to advisors. Develop and maintain teaching materials (e.g., syllabi, course content, question libraries, etc.). Prepare and evaluate course assignments and examinations. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Terminal degree in instructional design or closely related field with 18 hours in field/subject area OR Master’s degree in instructional design with terminal degree in closely related field.
