General
Summary/Responsibilities: Deliver professional education to EMS providers Frequent contact with EMS Coordinator and EMS providers and general public at outreach events Works closely with EMS, Trauma and CareFlight Outreach for successful implementation and execution of outreach events Assists with setting up of educational equipment inside and outside Essential Duties & Functions o Loads and unloads training equipment o Transports equipment in a safe manner o Informs Program Manager of needed repairs to training equipment o Follows through with responsibilities and resolves problems o Communicates problems encountered and unresolved problems to Program Manager o Maintains a quiet, safe and clean working environment o Assists with orientation of new personnel o Receptive to change in work schedule to accommodate needs of the department o Accomplishes assigned duties in a timely and professional manner. o Maintains positive Customer Service relations o Communicates with customers in a tone and manner that is respectful at all times. o Listens carefully to the needs and concerns of the customer so that an appropriate response can be made. o Responds quickly to meet the needs of the customer. o Reports concerns to Program Manager o Makes organized use of time, adheres to requested deadlines o Communicates with team members o Maintains email and phone for communications and scheduling
Requires a High School diploma or GED and 1-3 years of job-related experience. Must hold State of Ohio Paramedic, State of Ohio EMS Instructor, and BLS certifications.
