Job description
If you love being on the water and you’re the person friends trust to “take the lead,” this is your summer job. As our Boating & Sailing Program Specialist at Lake Clear Summer Camp, you’ll run fun, structured waterfront experiences that help campers grow brave, capable, and curious—while keeping safety at the core.
- This is a seasonal, on-site position at Lake Clear Camp.
- Staff live at camp and receive room and board.
- Camp Dates at Lake Clear Camp are July 27 – August 21, 2026 (includes training and post-camp clean-up).
- Camp staff are generally off from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon each week.

- Must have current certification or documented experience teaching and facilitating small craft boating activities for canoes, kayaks, and sailboats; Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17; prior youth-focused work or volunteer experience preferred.
