  • Responsibilities: Implement physical education activities aligned with Florida State Standards. Support individual student’s motor skills/fitness levels and create adaptations as needed. Provide input on goals/objectives and current status for IEPs (as appropriate) Utilize various organizational and motivational strategies that promote maximum participation. Ensure students learn the relationship between health and wellness with the components of healthy nutrition. Conduct required number of physical education classes weekly (150 minutes per class) Coordinate Campus Field Day. Consult with teachers to ensure behavior plans are carried over during Physical Education instruction.
