• Job Title: rehabilitation Aide Division/Program: Star View Adolescent Center Starting Compensation: 24.00 - 25.00 USD Per Hour Working Location: Torrance, CA Working Hours/Shift: Tue - Sat or Sun - Thu 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

• Employee Recognition & Rewards: A culture that celebrates and rewards your hard work and dedication What you bring to SBHG (qualifications): High School Diploma AA or BA preferred Facilitating Groups preferred Two (2) years residential childcare or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred How you will make a difference (job overview): Rehabilitation Aide assists the professional rehabilitation staff by providing direct service to adolescents in implementing activity and rehabilitation groups.
• Plans and conducts both large and small activity groups and outings independently but under the indirect or direct supervision of the Director, coordinator, Rehab Therapist, or their designee.
• Assists with maintaining inventory and equipment by inspecting equipment and supply levels and then communicating needs to the Director, Coordinator or Therapist.
• Document in writing each adolescent’s attendance and response to activity and therapeutic groups in the individual medical record or on department forms.
• Maintain visual awareness of adolescents physical and psychiatric limitations and ensures the safety of residents at all times.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and maximize resident participation through appropriate motivational techniques.
