Job description

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM (hours vary by location)
  • Locations: Manassas and Woodbridge

The right candidate will

  • Be committed to upholding standards for high quality child care at every level
  • Meet the individual needs of the children, interact with all children to support play and learning Implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans
  • Participate in staff trainings and required teacher trainings
  • Establish positive and effective communication and relationships with families
  • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, loving, and nurturing environment for all children
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Is familiar with the child care field and pay scale.
  • Must have reliable attendance and accountability.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six one experience working in a licensed child care facility
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CDA, Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education, or related; or
  • Current and active enrollment in an accredited Associates or Bachelor’s degree program; or
  • Ability to pass background and fingerprinting check
  • Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience or education in physical education or sports medicine.
