Job description

Misericordia University is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable part-time Track & Field Throwing Coach to assist with coaching student-athletes in throwing events, including shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer. Responsibilities include planning and leading event-specific training sessions, developing technique and performance, and supporting the overall mission of the athletic program. The ideal candidate will have collegiate playing or coaching experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to the academic and athletic success of student-athletes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience in track & field throwing events preferred
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer
