Market context
In Texas, Registered Behavior Technician roles are commonly tied to school-based and pediatric autism services, so demand is often driven by district staffing needs and outpatient ABA programs. These roles are competitive because employers usually prefer candidates with ABA, special education, or pediatric experience, and they require a high school diploma plus RBT certification within six months of hire.
